Ellen DeGeneres posted a message to her fans on Tuesday (August 19), following her weekend wedding to Portia de Rossi, explaining it was “everything we hoped it would be.”

The couple were married on Saturday at their Beverly Hills mansion in front of a small group of family and friends.
