Eminem announced on his radio station Thursday (October 16) that he will release his sixth album, to be called ‘Relapse,’ soon and played a new track called ‘I’m Having A Relapse.’
During an on-air celebration promoting his new book ‘The Way I Am’ on Shade 45, the rapper revealed details of the new album but stopped short of naming a release date.
“There are a lot of fake album titles floating out there — a lot of bullsh*t titles,” he explained. “The real title of my album that’s coming out is called ‘Relapse.’”
50 Cent, who was also at the party, stated that Eminem’s album forms part of a “three-headed monster,” to be released alongside his new album, ‘Before I Self Destruct,’ and Dr. Dre’s much anticipated ‘Detox.’
“It’s a story actually,” he said. “‘Before I Self Destruct,’ I’ll ‘Relapse,’ then ‘Detox.’”

I’ve got a feeling that this will be all that we are expecting. I’ve been waiting to hear Eminem get back to what he does best, and damn it, it’s finally coming. Em is a true artist, and will give his fans what they need. It’s all about timing. The greats will take a break, let the bullshit hit the streets for a while, and then release FIRE! once again hip hop needs to be saved, and here comes the Aftermath superheroes to do it again. Thank you, Dr. Dre, Thank you Eminem, and thank you 50.
