Eva Longoria Talks About Marriage Rumors

February 10th, 2008

Eva Longoria has opened up to the US edition of InStyle magazine, discussing the recent rumors that accused her husband, NBA player Tony Parker, of having an affair – with the diminutive star saying that the pair are "able to handle this".

Parker was accused in December 2007 of cheating on Longoria with a French model, Alexandra Paressant, when paparazzi website X17online.com ran a series of videos of Paressant proclaiming to be the "other woman" during a two month affair, shortly following Longori and Parker’s wedding.

The NBA star lodged a US$40 million lawsuit against the website, stating, "This is false. It never happened," and adding that the site must "have entertained serious doubts about the credibility of its supposed source".

Longoria discussed being dragged through the mud in the media, telling InStyle, "If you fight every [rumor] that comes up against you, you look guilty; if you don’t fight everything, you look guilty. So you’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t. The bottom line is, Tony and I are very much in love and we’re tough-skinned, so we’re able to handle this."
