Evan Handler, currently filming the Sex and the City movie in New York, has denied a Page Six report that his "chronic hiccuping" caused the shoot to be shut down several times on Tuesday (October 2).
The article stated that Handler, who plays Charlotte’s husband Harry Goldenblatt, "reported to his first day of filming for the movie version of Tuesday… but production had to be halted a few times because of a chronic hiccuping problem Handler has developed."
The actor was quoted as saying, "It’s been going on now for the past two years. Sometimes it goes on for two, three days straight. So, it was happening a little while filming, yes. But I can get it under control. I go to a quiet corner and redirect my breathing and center myself."
Handler denied the article to US TV show Extra, saying, "My hiccup thing is a scam! I had some hiccups the other day, but pretty much everything else in that article was invented."
