Ewan McGregor has revealed that he had a skin cancer scare during the filming of his latest movie ‘Deception’, after he had a suspicious-looking mole checked out.
The 37-year-old ‘Star Wars’ actor sought a medical opinion on several spots on his face with the doctors removing a cancerous mole below his right eye.
During an interview with the BBC, McGregor revealed, "I went to see a specialist who thought they were better to be removed, and indeed he was correct."
"You have to be careful if you’re pale-skinned and spend any time in the sun."
Although he says the surgery was "not that big of a deal", when asked whether he was scared about finding a cancerous mole, the Scotsman turned to sarcasm.
"It was great fun having skin cancer, it was great, I really enjoyed it."
