EXCLUSIVE: Jessica Simpson’s Festival Performance Well Received

THE CELEBRITY TRUTH EXCLUSIVE: Despite reports that she was booed during her set at the Country Thunder USA Festival in Wisconsin on Saturday (July 19), a rep for Jessica Simpson tells TheCelebrityTruth.com that her performance was “extremely well received.”
Stories circulating online say that Simpson’s foray into country music, as opening act for Sara Evans, was met with a mixed reaction from the crowd, with a handful of fans panning her performance in the local media.
However, the singer’s rep, Lauren Auslander, tells The Celebrity Truth, “On the contrary, Jessica’s performance was extremely well received. She even got a standing ovation after performing the title track to her new album, ‘Do You Know.’”

Yah, that Simpson “Rep” Was her DAD! Of COURSE he’s gonna say that! He’s quoted saying it in his interview! GEEZE…

That’s hardly the truth, you know. A rep from the celebrity is not a guaranteed truth.

I was at the concert. There were only a few people who booed. It definitely was NOT the reaction of the larger crowd. Most people watched and listened intently….trying to make their mind up on whether they liked her music or not. Overall, her performance was well received. It was at least as well received as many of the the other country performers. Her title track was VERY well received because people had heard it before and singing the songs people have heard before are always what they look forward to.

When is she gonna give it up….???? She should stick to selling!!!!! By now, her father should realize he may have to go back to preaching…:-)
