The Expendables Blow Up Scott Pilgrim At The US Box Office

Sylvester Stallone and his merry bunch of killing machines made an explosive debut at the US box office this weekend, taking an estimated $35 million and leaving poor old Scott Pilgrim for dead.

According to Exhibitor Relations, second place went to Julia Roberts’ food and love fest, Eat, Pray, Love, with $24 million, while Will Ferrel and Mark Wahlberg’s buddy cop comedy The Other Guys adding another $17.5 million to last week’s total.

That brings us to fourth place…

Despite fantastic reviews, Michael Cera’s Scott Pilgrim Vs The World will finish up with a disappointing $12 million mark by the weekend’s end.
