Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump from rock band Fall Out Boy have set the Guinness World Record for the ‘Most Interviews On Radio In a 24 Hour Period By A Pair Of Two’ on Friday (October 31).
The two rockers completed 72 radio interviews from a Los Angeles studio between 3:00am and 3:00pm beating the previous record of 57, set in May this year (2008).
Speculation that Wentz’s wife Ashlee Simpson had gone into labor early Friday morning was rife, after the bassist posted a cryptic message on Twitter saying, “Woke up at 215am tonight. Pretty awesome. Dog didn’t even get up to say goodbye. That’s when u know its early.”
However, the comment was related to his Guinness World Record attempt, not the birth of the couple’s first child.
