False Fatherhood Reports After Van Morrison Website Hacked

Van Morrison has been forced to deny reports that he has become a father for the fourth time to a new woman, after his website was hacked.
“The comments which appeared on my Web site did not come from me,” the usually reclusive singer said in a statement. “They are completely and utterly without foundation.”
Reports that the 64-year-old had fathered a child with someone other than his wife of 18 years, Michelle Morrison, hit the media this week after the news appeared on his official website.
“Once the claims were brought to our attention, they were taken down from the site but not before news organizations repeated these falsehoods,” he said, adding that he is still “very happily married.”
