Family Angry As Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt Elope

The family of reality tv stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have expressed their anger at the couple’s decision to elope to Mexico, where they were married on November 19.
The couple, who both feature on MTV’s ‘The Hills’, were married in a secret ceremony in Cabos San Lucas without their family’s knowledge.
Holly Montag, the sister of the bride, told Usmagazine, “I had a plane ride here to Toronto. I get off the plane, and I have 40 texts and emails. I knew they were down in Cabo, but I had no idea what was going on. I never would’ve expected [a wedding].
“I am a little bit hurt,” she adds. “I want to hear what really happened. But whatever Heidi chooses, I support her. She’s my sister; I love her. I want her to be happy.”
However, the decision to elope has caused tension with Montag’s mother Darlene, who has previously clashed with Pratt.
“She didn’t know, either, what was going on,” Holly continues. “And we were frantically calling [Heidi]. Everybody’s pretty upset.”
