Farrah Fawcett’s Son Busted For Drugs… Again

Redmond O’Neal, the troubled son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O’Neal, was arrested on Sunday morning (April 4) after he was busted for allegedly trying to smuggle drugs through a security check point at a Los Angeles jail.
LA County Sheriff’s Department Spokesman Steve Whitmore said the incident happened at the Pitchess Detention South Facility in Santa Clarita at 9:30am when O’Neal was dropping off friends to visit an inmate.
Prior to the routine search, the 24-year-old admitted to authorities he was carrying the drugs and was taken into custody and arrested for possession of a controlled substance and bringing narcotics into a secured jail facility, with bail set at $25,000.
“This case shows how difficult it is to break the apparent cycle of chemical dependence,” Whitmore said of O’Neal’s ongoing drug battle, however, he stopped short of naming the chemical found during the search.
