Fergie & Will.I.Am Being Sued For Alleged Song Rip-Off

The lawyers have been called for little known reggae band Groundation, as they go after Fergie and Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas for allegedly plagiarizing their 2000 song Waterfall, claiming they ripped it off Fergie’s Voodoo Doll. Check out both songs after the jump.
Grounded Music, who holds the rights to the track, is seeking unspecified damages and has requested the case be heard before a jury, alleging that Fergie’s track is “substantially and strikingly similar” to their song that was released in 2000.
At the time of writing there has been no response from Fergie’s camp.
