Singer Lenny Kravitz has a powerful new fan in the form of French President Nicolas Sarkozy, who was so impressed by Kravitz’s new album that he sent the rocker a personalised note.
Kravitz, 43, sent the political leader a copy of his CD, ‘It is Time for a Love Revolution’, and received a "really nice" letter about it in return, the American rocker told Le Parisien. "He said he listened to my new disc and really liked it," Kravitz was quoted as saying in the interview. "He even cited his favourite songs." Sarkozy’s office confirmed that he had sent a letter to thank Kravitz for sending the CD. Kravitz, who is performing this summer in France, acknowledged that he barely kept up with French news, but knew about the glamorous romance between Sarkozy and his new wife, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy. Before becoming first lady, former model Bruni-Sarkozy dated rockers Mick Jagger and Eric Clapton.

Sarkozy should stop listening to rock and roll and start getting to work to keep his promises of reforming the dying French economy
