Friends Movie Rumors Are False

July 6th, 2008

Reports of a movie version of the hit television show ‘Friends’ are completely false, according to almost everyone connected to the show.

Stories of a reunion sprang up in the U.K.’s Daily Mail this week, with an unnamed source quoted as saying, “Jennifer, Courtney and the rest of cast are keen to reprise their roles, under the right circumstances.”

However, spokespeople for the cast and Warner Bros. have come forward denying the rumors.

Jayne Trotman, director of publicity for Warner Bros U.K. says there is “no truth in the story,” while Courteny Cox Arquette’s rep told the BBC that he was not aware of any plans for a film.

A publicist for Matthew Perry, who is busy working on a pilot for a new show called ‘The End of Steve’, said, “Nothing is happening in this regard, so the rumor is false.”

Jennifer Aniston’s rep also told Page Six, “We are not aware of any such project. I really don’t know [if she would have any interest],” and David Schwimmer’s publicist added, “There’s been no discussion about it.”

2 Days of happyness, then I read ‘False’ ‘No Truth’ ‘Red Light’ my heart crashed, the pieces scatterd allover the place. But me and my friend think that Warner Bros is doing this so that everyone will forget about the Movie idea, then when it come out everyone will go to see it, ”MONEY POURS IN” hopefully you get my point! So I just hope its a Green Light on ahead!
