Gabourey Sidibe Signs On For Showtime Series

Precious star Gabourey Sidibe has signed on for a regular role in the Showtime comedy series The Big C, it was announced Tuesday (March 9).
The Oscar nominee, who starred in the show’s pilot episode, will play a student when filming commences in May.
Laura Linney and Oliver Platt co-star in The Big C, which follows the life of a woman who fights back after being diagnosed with terminal cancer.
