George Clooney Blogs For Darfur

March 5th, 2009

George Clooney has posted a blog on The Daily Beast in an effort to raise awareness of the crisis in Darfur, saying, “Nothing new to report—except the shame of what man can do to man. And the secret seems to be that the longer it goes on, the more tolerant all of us become of it.”

One Response to “George Clooney Blogs For Darfur”

  1. Shannon Hawkins Says:

We have entered the era of “HELL NO!” After Katrina we said, “Oh hell no.” After Wall street whined we said “Hell f*@#!*ng no!” Women routinely raped ANYWHERE in the world, our response should be “HEEEEELL NO!” Maybe we can print some t-shirts (not made in China) that simply say, Darfur? HELL NO! Sell ‘em online for $10 and send all the money over to the camps in Chad. We have to make them matter. Money matters. It speaks louder than words these days. In the meantime, does anyone know if Lorrena Bobbitt is out of jail yet? I have some frequent flyer miles I’d love to donate to the cause…….
