The latest internet fad appears to be declaring celebrities dead, with Jeff Goldblum, Harrison Ford, Natalie Portman and Britney Spears all having to issue denials about their demise, which is precisely what George Clooney’s rep was forced to do today.

According to reports Clooney died on Monday (June 29) sending his publicist’s phone into meltdown as he was bombarded with calls from numerours media organizations and friends of the star all concerned for his wellbeing.

Stan Rosenfeld cleard the rumors, informing TMZ that the actor is very much alive.
