George Michael Apologizes For Latest Drug Bust

September 22nd, 2008

George Michael has issued an apology to fans after his latest arrest in London, where he was allegedly found in possession of crack cocaine and cannabis on Friday afternoon (September 19).

Scotland Yard issued a statement confimring,  “A 45-year old man was arrested on September 19 in the Hamstead Heath area on suspicion of the possession of drugs.  He was taken to a north London police station where he was interviewed and received a caution for posession of Class A and Class C drugs.”

Michael’s brushes with the law have been well documented, from being found slumped over the wheel of his car in London, where he later admitted to driving under the influence of drugs, to his infamous arrest in a Beverly Hills public toilet for lewd behavior.

A statement issued via his publicist said, “I want to apologize to my fans for screwing up again, and to promise them I’ll sort myself out. And to say sorry to everybody else, just for boring them.”
