Gerard Butler Accused Of Punching Paparazzi

Actor Gerard Butler has been accused of punching a member of the paparazzi several times in the face during a scuffle on Tuesday morning (October 7), according to Los Angeles police.
Ana Aguirre of the LAPD explained that a photographer filed a police report accusing the 38-year-old of misdemeanor battery following the fight.
TMZ reports that the photog was tailing the actor after he left a bar in LA and required stiches in his lip from his run-in with the ’300′ star.

It is also stated that the razzi was following him for an HOUR after the incident. That the razzi called a civil lawyer BEFORE calling the police and that the razzi was driving so reckless that he almost hit people. Now tell me who is the one that should be in trouble here? Gerry has always been good with the photo hounds there is more to the story, I just hope it gets out before too much damage is done to Gerrys reputation.

Gerry has always shown great patience and humor when dealing with fans and photogs alike. There is more to this story than just what is written. His reputation will not be smeared, at least to those of us who count, his loyal fans.

Yes, well said. The news failed to report any and all of the other details. It took all I had not to punch some guy tailgating and honking at me in a drive through the other day let alone to have a crazed photographer following. I’m certain for Gerry to get that upset, there must be much more to this story.

I know this is old news, but the paprazzi deserved that crap! I have even more respect for Gerard Butler for punching those pathetic people out. He should receive a medal, not a court case.
