Gossip Girl Spinoff In The Works

The makers of the hit tv series ‘Gossip Girl’ have revealed that a spinoff series is being investigated, although nothing is confirmed at this stage.

A rep for tv network The CW told The Hollywood Reporter on Thursday (December 4) that they are in early discussions with the producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, about any possibilities.

“Nothing really tangible yet, but we’re talking about it,” entertainment president Dawn Ostroff said.  “If it’s the right idea, we’d all embrace it and be enthusiastic, but nobody more than Josh and Stephanie want to make sure there’s the right idea that they can wrap their arms around and really be excited about.”
