Grey’s Anatomy Cast Going Live

February 15th, 2008

Even though the writer’s strike has come to a close, new episodes of your favorite television shows are still several months from returning to air with fresh episodes, so the cast of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ are doing something about it – they’re putting on a live show.

The announcement was made by the writers of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ on their official website, with series creator and executive producer Shonda Rhimes writing:

"For one night only, the casts of Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice are coming together for a live performance! An unforgettable evening of laughter and song to benefit crew members who were affected by the strike.

"Because while the strike is over, it will be months before many crew members are back to work.  Millions of dollars in income were lost. Many crew members are suffering. And we want to do anything we can to help out."

Rhimes says the stage production, which will be titled ‘Good Medicine’, will be held at UCLA’s Royce Hall on February 29, with tickets for the event available at ticketmaster.com.

"See them all! Cause they wanna see you! And help raise some money to help others," Rhimes says.
