Oscar-winning actress Gwenyth Paltrow spent Monday night (January 14) in New York’s Mount Sinai Hospital, with her publicist confirming that she is now back at home and "everything is fine".
Paltrow, 35, was escorted by husband Chris Martin, lead singer of Coldplay tot he hospital on Monday. The pair stayed overnight before checking out on Tuesday, says Paltrow’s publicist, Stephen Huvane.
"Everything is fine—she is back at home," Huvane told E! News.
"We are not commenting on the reason for her hospitalization, as it is personal."
The hospital visit might be related to Paltrow’s knee condition, after she had knee surgery last year and was forced to use crutches for several weeks. The surgery was required after the actress bashed her knee on furniture while tending to her kids, Apple and Moses, during a Memorial Day weekend at Steven Spielberg’s house.
Paltrow has a movie coming out in May, the comic book-based ‘Iron Man’, co-starring Robert Downey Jnr.
