‘Harry Potter’ star Daniel Radcliffe is on a hunt to find a girl he met while at a party in Australia recently, with a local newspaper assisting the star in trying to track her down.

Radcliffe, 18, was backstage at a function for the Australian Film Institute when he spied a girl from across the room.

He tells Australian newspaper The Daily Telegraph that, "There was one girl there, oh my god, she had these eyes that just looked at me like she wanted to pounce on me.  She stared at me the whole night and I was going to get her number and then I couldn’t find her."

He adds, "I must have walked around that party for an hour trying to look for this girl, like some sad pathetic dweeb but it would have been so worth it."

The newspaper has launched a search for the mystery girl via their website. 

"I don’t know, I don’t know her name, I can’t remember her name. It was one of those things, but she was stunning," Radcliffe says.
