Heath Ledger’s Van Stolen

The father of Australian actor Heath Ledger has reported that a green 1975 Volkswagen van belonging to his late son – which the actor gifted to a friend for safekeeping prior to moving to the US – has been stolen.
A report on Australian news website news.com.au states that Ledger is believed to have given the van to his friend, Trevor DiCarlo, in 2006.
Ledger’s father Kim reported the vehicle stolen from Sydney’s famed Bondi Beach area around the date of Ledger’s death in late January.
According to the article, the van is valued at approximately $70,000 due to the late actor’s fame and various modifications that have been made.
Mr. Ledger is currently arranging his late son’s estate in Australia and the US.
