A rep for Heather Locklear has denied reports that the actress had split from partner Jack Wagner to spend more time with her daughter Ava.

According to the tabloids, the Melrose Place star called off the three year relationship to her former co-star, however, her rep says they “have not split.”

Locklear shares custody of her 12-year-old daughter with ex-husband Richie Sambora from rock group Bon Jovi.
