Jack White Annoyed With Coke Over Bond Song

Coca Cola has used the upcoming Bond Theme, ‘Another Way To Die’ by Jack White and Alicia Keys, in promotion of their Coke Zero brand and White isn’t happy. Watch the Coke Zero Zero 7 commercial here.
The White Stripes rocker released a statement regarding the soft drink’s use of the song for a tie-in with the new 007 film.
“Jack White was commissioned by Sony Pictures to write a theme song for the James Bond film ‘Quantum of Solace,’ not for Coca Cola,” the statement explains. “Any other use of the song is based on decisions made by others, not by Jack White.
“We are disappointed that you first heard the song in a co-promotion for Coke Zero, rather than in its entirety.”
