Fans of television show ‘Desperate Housewives’ who worried that Mike was to leave Wisteria Lane, following the flash-forward scenes at the series finale, should worry no more - as James Denton has revealed that he will “certainly be on the show”.

The 45-year-old actor, who plays the long-suffering boyfriend of Teri Hatcher’s character Susan Meyers, was nowhere to be seen when the show looked into the future, and Susan was shown with another man.

“Mike and Susan have definitely split up,” Denton revealed to PEOPLE, before adding that he will be back, but “I’m not sure exactly in what capacity.”

“Marc Cherry (’the creator of ‘Desperate Housewives’) is being a little cagey. It’s going to be interesting to see what happens. But I will certainly be on the show. It’s a relief to me, trust me.”
