Jamie Lynn Spears Gives Birth To Baby Girl

Jamie Lynn Spears, younger sister of popstar Britney, gave birth to a baby girl on Thursday (June 19) in Mississippi, with her rep confirming that mother and daughter are “healthy and happy.”
Maddie Briann Aldridge was born at 9:33am and weighed 7lbs, 11 oz (approx 3.5kg) according to Ok! magazine.
“Both mom and baby are healthy and happy,” explained her rep. “They are surrounded by their close relatives, including Jamie Lynn’s older sister Britney, mother Lynn, father Jamie and brother Bryan.
This is the first child for Spears and her fiance, Casey Aldridge.

hey, so even though Jamie got a lot of slack for being pregnant at 16 i think she handled it TERRIFICLY!! I’m actually really proud of her..and i think photographers should just leave her alone for the time being to just let her enjoy and embrace all the happiness of being a new mother. And just give her some time to enjoy her bran new baby! Anyways, I’m really proud of her and I know she’ll make a great mom!

I really think that Jamie will be a great momma. Maddie is such a beautiful name and I believe that she will grow up to be an awesome child for both Jamie – lynn and her fiance Casey.
They will be one small happy family, I wish them every succes in the future.
