Jennifer Aniston’s new romantic comedy film, The Switch, came in at 8th place at the US box office this weekend, getting trounced by Jerry O’Connell’s p*nis Piranhas, Vampires and a bunch of old action heroes.
Five films made their debut in cinemas across the weekend, but none of them were able to knock off Sylvester Stallone and his merry men from the top spot, prompting speculation of a sequel.
However, it’s Aniston who’s going to cop the battering in the media and the gossip blogs, as her flick failed to draw a crowd.
Here’s the rundown of the top ten and what they made:
1. The Expendables: $16.5 million
2. Vampires Suck: $12.2 million
3. Eat, Pray, Love: $12 million
4. Lottery Ticket: $11.125 million
5. The Other Guys: $$10.1 million
6. Piranha 3D: $10.035 million
7. Nanny McPhee Returns: $8.310 million
8. The Switch: $8.1 million
9. Inception: $7.655 million
10. Scott Pilgrim Vs The World: $5.033 million

Doesn't look to me like anyone did real well at the box office? Nanny McPhee was in about a 1000 more theaters and so were several
of the others so I would hardly call them winners.
