The singer has vanished from the public spotlight following the shooting murders of her mother, brother and nephew on October 24, however, she took the time to express her gratitude in a statement.
“It’s been a childhood dream of mine to release an album,” Hudson said. “So to receive four Grammy nominations is truly a blessing. I’m extremely honored and humbled by the nominations.”
The 27-year-old has been nominated for best R&B song for her hit ‘Spotlight’, best R&B vocal performance, best R&B album and best R&B performance by a duo or group for her collaboration with Fantasia on ‘I’m His Only Woman.’
