Jennifer Lopez has shut her restaurant ‘Madre’s’ – Spanish for Mothers – in Los Angeles with no official reason given for the closure.

The Latin eatery opened in April 2002 and was designed to celebrate the star’s cultural heritage and her family.

A sign placed out the front of the restaurant says that “Madre’s will be closed Monday through Sunday starting July 1st, 2008, until further notice.”
