Jennifer Lopez Runs Triathlon In Malibu

Jennifer Lopez ran a triathlon in Malibu, California, on Sunday (September 14) completing the race in 2 hours, 23 minutes and 38.8 seconds, calling it an “amazing day.”

The 39-year-old made the decision to compete in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon after giving birth to her twins, Max and Emme, in February and feeling “beached like a whale.”

After crossing the finish line, Lopez told the crowd, “Thank you guys so much. This is an amazing day.

“I feel really great and so glad I finished and that I made it out of the water but more amazing than that, I feel really great that we raised $127,000 for the Children’s Hospital [Los Angeles] and hopefully it’ll go to good use.”

Fellow actor Matthew McConaughey also took part in the race, crossing the line in 1 hour, 30 minutes and 44.7 seconds.
