A Los Angeles Superior Court judge has issued a temporary order against Jennifer Lopez’s first husband, Ojani Noa, to stop him from distributing intimate home videos of the couple that were taped on their honeymoon.
Judge James Chalfant’s temporary order was issued ahead of a full hearing on the matter scheduled for Tuesday (November 10).
Court papers were filed on behalf of Lopez on Friday (November 6), which revealed that Noa is trying to find a buyer for a film that includes scenes of the couple’s honeymoon.
Lopez is claiming breach of contract, and is seeking $US10 million in damages over Noa’s attempts to sell the film.
This is the second time that Lopez, 40, has filed a lawsuit against Noa, who she married to for 11 months after marrying in 1997.
In the first case, the singer successfully sued her ex to prevent him from publishing of a tell-all book about their time together. She awarded $US545,000 by an arbitrator for breach of contract, as Noa had signed an agreement before their wedding agreeing not to publish details of their relationship.
