Producers of the hit Broadway show ‘Speed-the-Plow’ announced Wednesday (March 25) that their dispute with actor Jeremy Piven will be heard before an arbitrator in June.
The Entourage star left the play in December citing mercury poisoning, despite being contracted to the show for a further two months.
According to a statement from the producers, Piven must provide info “relating to his claims that an alleged illness required him to leave the show.”
Additionally, the actor will have to hand over “medical records and documentation of Mr. Piven’s acitivities both during and after the run of the show.”
The arbitration hearing will happen in New York on June 8-9.
