A rep for Jesse James has revealed that the husband of Oscar winning actress Sandra Bullock has checked himself into a treatment facility to deal with his issues.

With multiple women stepping forward admitting to alleged affairs with the West Coast Chopper, the rep was clear that this move was “100 percent his own idea.”

“Jesse checked himself into a treatment facility to deal with personal issues,” his rep told PEOPLE in a statement. “He realized that this time was crucial to help himself, help his family and help save his marriage.”
