After being on the receiving end of a nasty animated video making fun of her supposed reported weight issues, Fox and Burger King have issued apologies to Jessica Simpson for a segment that aired during Fox NFL Sunday on October 11.
The clip, which was presented by the hamburger chain, questioned how Dallas Cowboys star Tony Romo could date Simpson “even AFTER she blew up bigger than Flozell Adams!”
A statement released Wednesday (October 14) by Fox says, “Burger King Corp. did not have any editorial input in the creation of the animation that ran last Sunday, and no one from Burger King Corp. approved it before it aired. Upon reflection, our poor attempt at humor was insensitive and we deeply apologize to anyone who might have been offended.
Additionally Burger King says, “Burger King Corp. has a long-standing relationship with FOX Sports, as well as an extensive media partnership with the network. The specific content for this sketch involving Jessica Simpson was not developed or aired by BKC or any of its agencies.”

Hey Jess,
If you’re fat, quit whining and go on a diet like the rest of you so called celebrities. Better yet, get a tummy tuck, or is all your money gone with your career?
