They’ve only officially been dating since May, but it looks like Jessica Simpson and her NFL star boyfriend Eric Johnson are ready to commit for life, with a rep for the singer confirming that they are engaged!

“Yes, we are excited to confirm that they are engaged!” says the spokesperson in a statement.

Simpson’s high profile ex, Nick Lachey, also recently announced his engagement to Vanessa Minillo.
