Jessica Simpson: No Duet Planned With Tony Romo

A story stating that Jessica Simpson and her current love interest, NFL star Tony Romo, are teaming up for a duet on her new country record is false, according to her rep.
The story originated in US publication the National Enquirer, with an unnamed ’source’ telling the tabloid, "Jessica has been schooled in publicity tricks by her manager dad, Joe, and she knows that a duet with Tony will attract major attention."
The Celebrity Truth checked with Simpson’s representative, Lauren Auslander, who denied the rumor saying, "There are no plans for them to do this."
Simpson has been recording her debut country album in Nashville. The album which is slated for release later this year.
