Jessica Simpson has suffered every performer’s nightmare when she had to stop mid-song because of audio complications, while singing live on Good Morning America on Tuesday (September 9).  Catch the clip here.

Despite some gossip columns claiming ’she goofed’ and calling the performance ‘disastrous,’ Simpson explained away the malfunction telling the audience, “Hold on, I know this is live tv, but I can’t hear anything.”

The singer then counted her band in again and the performance continued without a hitch.
