Jon Gosselin Confirms That He’s Single

July 27th, 2009

Despite headlines in recent days claiming he’s romancing numerous women, now that his marriage is over, Jon Gosselin has confirmed that he is single and is “just a regular guy.”

Talking to PEOPLE on Saturday (July 25), the star of reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8 was quite open about the status of his relationship with reported girlfriend Hailey Glassman.

“She’s always a good friend of mine,” he explains.  “Her family is so good. They took me in and I lived there for a while. I love them to death.”

He adds, “She doesn’t like this [craziness]. She loves me for who I am and not for what I do.  We are going to chill out for a while and see where it takes us. I’m not looking for anyone.”

As for other claims he’s dating Star magazine reporter Kate Major, Gosselin says, “We are just friends.”

After 10 years of marriage, the 32-year-old father of eight confesses he’s happy just being a bachelor for a while.

“At this point … I’m single – per se,” he explains. “I’m just a regular guy who just wants to have friendship and good times. And I like meeting people…  I’m just trying to concentrate on my family first, second my career. That’s what I have to do.”

  1. cbw Says:

Jon & Kate are big, fat liars.

Just replace the word “friends” with “sex” and replace “regular” with “sex starved” in everything that Jon just said.

You have to learn to understand “mediaspeak” if you want to continue reading this drivel.

Jon’s handlers & lawyers just cannot manage this guy like Kate’s team handles her. Has everyone forgotten Deanna Hummel? Jon’s had THREE women in the past 6 months. And Kate, as far as we know has had the bodyguard. But she is well versed at deception. Jon is a very, very bad liar.

Evidently, Jon & Kate are SO confident in their show that they continue to lie to their fans, the public and expect to be believed.

I’ve learned there is no such thing as “reality tv”. Thanks for the explanation Jon, but it’s just another lie.
