Jon & Kate – Separation Announced

UPDATED: Unfortunately it was not good news from the Jon & Kate Gosselin camp. After a lead up of advertisements promising a life changing decision, the couple announced on their show, Jon & Kate Plus 8, that they were separating after 10 years of marriage. Watch the couple discuss their separation after the jump.
“Kate and I have decided to separate,” Jon said. “It’s just not good for our kids for us to be arguing in front of our kids. We can’t be cordial with one another and we decided to separate.”
Said Kate, “I’m not very fond of the idea personally, but I know it’s necessary, because my goal is peace for the kids.”
In keeping with their wishes to not impact the children, they will take turns remaining the house. However, the show will go on.
As the episode faded out, it was announced that legal proceedings had been initiated to dissolve their marriage. Here`s hoping that they get some time together alone and things start to look better for this family.

i find u guys should not get divorce if u care about d kids it will be hard for them not to see i saw every episode jon u was wrong going out nobody can hide that but u were married for 10yrs dont divorce kate u have to trust ur husband jon dont look like that kind of person if u guys divorce i swear i will kill myself not another reality couple dis suck i love u guys tell mady cara leah hannah alexis aaden joel and my husband u know ur kid i love u guys may the lord bless u n stay together please
