Justin Bieber’s gruelling tour schedule has taken its toll: the singer has crushed the dreams of thousands of tweenage fans, after officials at the New York State Fair’s cancelled his August 29 concert “due to an illness”.
All is not lost, however: they promptly rescheduled the performance to 7pm Wednesday September 1.
“The Fair was notified Saturday during the grandstand concert that, due to an illness, Justin Bieber has re-scheduled his Sunday, Aug. 29 concert at the New York State Fair to Wednesday, Sept. 1, at 7pm,” the statement read.
“As a result, promoters for Justin Bieber have had to reschedule the Verizon Wireless Arena show in Manchester, New Hampshire, which was scheduled for Wednesday, Sept 1. That show will be moved to Thursday, Dec. 9 in order to accommodate re-schedule the Fair date.”
Bieber then tweeted to let his 4.8 million followers know that he hasn’t been struck down with anything too serious.
“Really dont know what to twitter… im getting rest right now and trying to recover from the not so good news from the doctor…” he wrote.
“im gonna be ok just need 2 rest but i wanted all of u 2 know i never want to let any of u down. ever. i really appreciate all the kind words.”
