Kate Beckinsale In Body Double Trouble

Warner Bros. has lashed out at claims that actress Kate Beckinsale demanded a body double for a nude scene in her upcoming drama ‘Whiteout’, with producers saying that the British beauty made “no request” for a body double – but one was provided anyway.The rumor began circulating at the weekend, when the Mail on Sunday published an article reporting that Beckinsale had demanded producers fork over US$2,000 per day for a body double.
“The claims appearing on the internet today that Kate Beckinsale requested a body double for filming Whiteout are absolutely untrue,” the studio said.
“As is standard practice on many movies, a body double was hired for several scenes by the production and not at the request of Kate Beckinsale.”
Producer Susan Downey added, “Kate Beckinsale made no request for a body double for this production.’”
Whiteout is due for release later this year.
