Kate Walsh Reveals: Addison May Move Back To Grey’s?
February 20th, 2009While Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight are rumored to be leaving Grey’s Anatomy, one former star could be making a comeback, with Kate Walsh revealing that her character Addison Shepherd may permanently return to the medical drama.
Walsh currently stars as Addison in the spin-off Private Practice, and recently filmed a guest spot on Grey’s Anatomy.
“I loved it. [It was] fantastic. I’m really thrilled, and I think it’s always fun to go back,” she said.
At the Swarovski Pre-Oscar Celebration in Beverly Hills on Wednesday (February 19), Usmagazine.com asked Walsh if she would consider a more permanent return to the show.
“I might. I’m not gonna’ say,” she replied.
“Who knows what’s in the mind of [show creator] Shonda Rhimes?”
The actress added that she’s “in a great place” after her sudden split from husband Alex Young in December.
“I’m great,” she said.
“I’m about to wrap Private Practice and I’m having a great time. I’m thrilled with the numbers, and I’m in a great place.”
