Kate Winslet & Sam Mendes Split

Kate Winslet and her husband, Sam Mendes, have called it quits after almost seven years of marriage, saying they are “saddened” by the break-up.
A statement released on Monday (March 15) by their lawyer, Keith Schiliing, said:
“Kate and Sam are saddened to announce that they separated earlier this year. The split is entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement.
Both parties are fully committed to the future joint parenting of their children.
They ask that the media respect the privacy of the family.”
The dual Oscar winners have a 6-year-old son together while Winslet has her 9-year-old daughter from a previous marriage.
