A statement released by his attorney Thursday (January 8), confirmed that R. Kelly’s 11 year marriage to Andrea Kelly is finally over.

Along with facing child pornography charges, which he was acquitted for in June last year (2008), Kelly also separated from his second wife in 2005, after she filed an emergency restraining order against the singer claiming he had physically abused, harassed and stalked her.

“The parties have reached an amicable resolution concerning all issues related to their marriage and will share joint custody of their three children,” a joint statement from their lawyers said.  ”The details of this agreement will remain confidential and the family requests that their privacy be respected during this time.”
