Kendra Wilkinson may have ditched the Playboy mansion, but that doesn’t mean she’s not pining for the luxuries she left behind: the bride-to-be, who is three months pregnant and is getting married this Saturday, doesn’t know how to shop for groceries, cook, tidy, clean – or discipline her dogs, who currently poop where they stand in the house!
“At first it was a little hard because it was my first time, but it got better,” Wilkinson says.
“I have a good team around me, Team Kendra.”
Wilkinson will marry football player Hank Baskett at the Playboy Mansion this weekend. She moved out of the mansion earlier this year after ending her five year relationship with Hugh Hefner as one of his three live-in girlfriends, which was captured on the reality show The Girls Next Door.
Her new show, Kendra, follows her experiences as she adjusts to “normal” life, and it attracted record audience numbers in the US when it premiered in June.
“When I heard the ratings I was just so blown away and so shocked and excited. It makes me feel good that I still have a following out there, and still have fans,” she says.
Her first child is due in December, and Wilkinson said she’ll be working hard to get back into shape.
“It’s not [because of] the pressure of Hollywood, it’s the pressure from myself – I’m going to look at myself for the rest of my life in the mirror and I want to be able to look good,” Wilkinson says.
“I think [a mother] has every right to look good for herself, she has every right to work out, tan, get pedicures and manicures. I’m going to be working out, being a hot mom.”
