Kevin Spacey Orders Cease & Desist Against L.A. Musician

May 15th, 2011

What’s in a name? Oscar winning actor Kevin Spacey thinks there’s a lot.  Spacey has issued a cease and desist order to Los Angeles musician Jason Drake, aka Cassettes Won’t Listen, after the artist named his forthcoming album Kevinspacey.

Apparently the American Beauty star’s name is trademarked for acting and music related matters and ordered the singer stop his cd pressing.

So, what does one do when issued with such a legal wrangle? Why, change the album’s name to Evinspacey of course!  It’s out on June 21.
