Liam Neeson has confirmed that he will replace Mel Gibson in The Hangover 2, telling Variety that he got the call and is headed to Thailand to play a tattoo artist.
Gibson was set to star in the much anticipated sequel, but was unceremoniously dumped after director Todd Phillips admitted that he didn’t have the “full support of my entire cast and crew.”
Neeson was offered the role via Bradley Cooper, his co-star in The A-Team.
