Lil Wayne Arrested In Drug Bust

US rapper Lil‘ Wayne has been arrested at a California-Arizona Border Patrol checkpoint after his bus was stopped, with authorities reportedly finding cocaine, ecstasy and drug paraphernalia on board.
Police stopped the bus, which was transporting Wayne – who’s real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. – and 12 other people, at approximately 11:30pm on Tuesday night (January 22).
 
Border patrol agents revealed that they uncovered 105 grams (3.7 ounces) of marijuana, 29 grams (1 ounce) of cocaine, 41 grams (1.45 ounces) of ecstasy, a .40 calibre pistol, and more than $22,000 in cash. A police dog was responsible for sniffing out the drug haul. 

Carter Jr. was booked with three felony drug charges on Wednesday, and according to authorities, was taken for a video arraignment, where he faces charges of possession of dangerous drugs, narcotics and drug paraphanalia.
